The emotions of Christmas include the emotion of amazement.
I'm sure you have had that emotion at a Christmas or two but probably not like that of Mary and Joseph when the angel told them the Christ child would come through Mary and Joseph would father Him.
But in spite of their mixed emotions , including that of amazement, they let the Word of God override any feelings they may have had.
What a lesson for us today. Yes, our feelings are real, but God's Woprd is real and even more powerful.
