The story of the Prodigal Son is very widely known but I like to call it the story of the Loving Father. this story is about compassion for someone who made a series of bad decisions like we can also do. But the love of the father was unchanging.
Jesus told this story to let people know that our Heavenly Father has unchanging love for us as well. And He welcomes back all who have gone astray.
